Graphic designer based in Los Angeles, with a focus on design for print media. Books, publications, and identity design are created in collaboration with arts and cultural institutions, publishers, artists, curators, editors and academic institutions.
After studying graphic design at Art Center College of Design, worked for Richard Saul Wurman, creator of the TED Conference and the Access© city guides, before establishing a sole practice in 1984.
Clients have included the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Gagosian, Los Angeles Times Books, HarperCollins Publishers, UCLA Anderson, UCLA Law, USC, Creative Santa Fe, Ford Motor Company and Sony Entertainment.
Member AIGA, Guild of Bookworkers, The Book Club of California. Currently serving on the board of directors of The Book Club of California.
