Graphic designer based in Los Angeles, with a focus on design for print media. Books, publications, identity design and exhibition signage are created in collaboration with arts and cultural institutions, publishers, artists, curators, editors and academic institutions.

Studied graphic design at Art Center College of Design, and worked for Richard Saul Wurman, creator of TED and the Access© city guides, before establishing a sole practice in 1984.

Clients have included the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Gagosian, Los Angeles Times Books, HarperCollins Publishers, UCLA Anderson, UCLA Law, USC, Creative Santa Fe, Ford Motor Company and Sony Entertainment.
